The Blackburn Cycling Club has developed a partnership with the Rowville Rider (RR) Group to enhance its recreational cycling element within the Club. The RR’s are a local cycling group in the eastern suburbs who regularly conduct rides out of the Rowville vicinity. Rides are conducted every Thursday evening into the Dandenong Hills and on Sunday morning they alternate between various ride routes including Beach Road. New rides are introduced regularly and special rides occur on specific dates, e.g. Good Friday Crucifix and Around the Bay. All information about the RR’s is found on their TeamApp. If you are interested in enjoying a safe ride with likeminded individuals that is likely to include a coffee stop, please download and join the Rowville Rider TeamApp page or call Aaron Twigg on 0414 797 636. All riders must hold a Cycling Australia (CA) Race or Ride Licence Membership within Blackburn Cycling Club to be entitled to receive CA and club benefits. Junior riders under the age of 17 years old cannot ride with the RR’s without a parent/guardian present or unless approved by RR’s.
