The aim of the National Junior Track Series is to provide competition at a national level to juniors, to help transition to elite racing and ensure the long term future of track cycling and racing in Australia.

Blackburn Cycling Club is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from club members J15 & J17 (male and female), and women J19. 

If you are interested in nominating a rider or participating as a team manager, email and you will be invited to the club tryouts. Up to 6 riders will be selected to represent the club, which the club will subsidise.

Riders are required to demonstrate their ability to compete at NJTS events by attending at least one Friday Night DISC Training session. Please advise the Head Coach prior to commencement of the training session that you are attending for NJTS qualification. He can then observe your competency and assist in your development. Riders competing in VIS training squads will not be compelled to attend but would be made most welcome if they have the opportunity.

The NJTS will consist of four (4) rounds this season:

Sydney: Round 1 Dunc Gray - October 2 & 3 
Melbourne: Round 2 DISC - November 14 & 15
Launceston: Round 3 Silverdome - December 4 & 5
Adelaide: Round 4 Super Drome - January 11 & 12
